yes I was shocked to have come upon it....amazing to see brand new footage - guess somebody found the reel of film in somebody's vault and posted in on youtube.
who knows what else is out there waiting for us to see.
Rocky Marciano a real fighter and role model.
The Interview was in 1966 at the height of anti-Ali feeling, even Marciano fell victim to it, Ali was hated by this time and everybody wanted to see someone knock his block off. I can't think of another guy who was disliked so much by most of the United States who then about a decade later was so loved by those same individuals. When Ali aligned himself with the Nation of Islam it made him a lightning rod for controversy, America viewed them with suspicion, if not outright hostility and it made Ali a target of outrage. By the time of this interview Muhammad Ali was a polarizing figure not only in world sports, but in general. In 1966 Muhammad Ali was the most recognizable man on the planet. I suspect that Marciano was also very conscious of Ali's notoriety and his claims of being 'The Greatest'. All Rocky is doing here is subtlety reminding people that maybe Ali hasn't been tested yet, maybe he isn't as good as everyone thinks? Ali's chin was tested by Frazier and Foreman years later, sadly the Rock wasn't around to see that, i reckon he would've been impressed.
great find congrats on it

Yes I am sure he would have passed the Rocky respect test having overcome the likes of Frazier and Foreman in the latter part of his career.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
