    Default Willie Nelson, the boxer

    Willie Nelson - Boxer

Might not get to know a great deal more about this prospect but at least we know EXACTLY how hard he punches

looking at his record he just actually knocked out Jesse Feliciano in one round. So he has power, whether he has anything else has yet to be seen.

He's on the rise with solid oppurtunity to shine on Golovkin-Mackiln card vs Cuello. Hopefully he fights his height and keeps chin tucked...cause ability to punch a hole in someone is already there!

Dunno man, he beat Cuello but his corner is a mess and that chin. That chin. He was literally a contradiction in style Sat. night.

Just think he's confused and doesn't really have a ring identity, he goes to the body well but doesn't mix up his punches. He is never going to use his height, he likes to mix it up inside but he did decently well using it in spots. Hes going to have to. Not sure he's progressed much from when I first saw him. I used to be super high on him and Aaron Williams, a cruiserweight also from cleveland but not sure anymore.

He needs more snap in his straight punches, hooks and uppercuts look good and strong but his jab and his straight did nothing to Cuello, and as a tall fighter he really needs these to rise to the top

Having watched the fight here is my overview.

    1. He had massive advantages physically.
    2. He doesn't know how to use said advantages.
    3. He will be dropped by anybody that can bang.
    4. He struggles with pressure fighters.
    5. He can't punch well, based on the Cuello fight.
    6. He will never win a world title.

They were comparing him to Devon Alexander..... Gimme it a rest, I'd fancy Paulie to stop him.

Devon has one of the best chins in boxing. Seems a very odd guy to compare Nelson to

He def doesn't utilize his frame and smothers snap and combos with legit power. It was the first I've seen him make it a point to adapt and box though, and while it was forced at times he added a yet to be greased gear. His chin looks terrible. I'm not calling it a bust especially at 154 were we see Bundrage and Ishe Smith winning titles. But thats more an indictment of trinkets though

He lacks accuracy and conviction in his punches. Plus he doesn't set it up. He needs much work.
    Bigger man George, bigger punch!
