Default H2H Lennox Lewis is the greatest of all time. Nobody beats him

Jack dempsey might qualify to carry his spit bucket but probably not.

Jack johnson's skills are too primitive to compete with this man.

Joer louis is too small for lewis and would get knocked out in 5 rounds or less depending on how lewis gfeels.

Marciano would just get toyed with like david tua but only worse

Prime larry holmes just maybe. Just maybe

The klit brothers have the best shot but the lion lewis already fucked up a prime vitali so.

Is there anybody who can Take down the lion lewis?

I believe Bernstein said something like this last month and the response was pretty much what the hell but Head to head he's a problem for any heavyweight.

If I remember correctly...Lewis was getting his ass kicked by Vitali but Vitalis cutman couldn't get the bleeding stopped. I remember the entire crowd booing that night at Lewis's post fight interview because they all knew he was getting his ass kicked. Even the old man doing the post fight interview (Merchant) was asking him questions like..."Do you think you should have won this fight". Vitali wanted a rematch bad and was relentless in his pursuit of that rematch. Lewis knew he'd get his ass handed to him so he retired.

I'm not disputing that...but did you see the fight? Don't you think Vitali deserved a rematch rather than Lewis bitching up?

That's what you call bitching up? Lewis was one of the few fighters who was wise enough to retire on top, with dignity intact.. He decided to ride into the sunset after one last, tough victory so how is that bitching up exactly?

    It's called wisdom..

And you said Lewis got his ass kicked? lol what an overstatement, man.. Vitali got in some good shots early in the round but nowhere near to a point where Lewis was in deep trouble..

Once Lewis weathered the storm, it was all downhill for Vitali. Not only was he fatigued towards the end, but he was genuinely hurt as he held on for dear life.. DO u honestly feel that he would have survived the next round??

The momentum was on Lewis' side and it was one of those fights where the outcome was very clear..

No, Vitali didnt deserve a rematch because Lewis rearranged his face.. That victory wasn't convincing enough for you? lol Vitali has never taken a beating so severe and he nearly lost his eye in that fight so what rematch?

Pretty much I wanted Lewis to fight Wlad to humiliate them both but now Lewis is 47 and he looks great probably because he didn't hold on.

Somebody like Vitali who is so robotic with no fluidity, horrible balance, and who always telegraphs his punches is just tailor made for Lewis.

What amazes me about the fight was Lewis wasnt even in tip top shape for that bout nor did he have time to prepare for Vitali's style..

He was training for Kirk Johnson at the time but had to change to Vitali pretty much at the last minute..

That just speaks volumes about the man.. Lennox is truly a legend.

Not a fan of Lewis or Klit, however it looked as if Vitali could have KO'd Lewis.

Jack dempsey didn't want anything to do with the black heavies of his own time, I doubt he'd fancy going up against a modern black monster like Lennox

I wish someone would ask Lewis "how is it that you had a crying, no punch throwing, going through crack withdraws Oliver McCall (a man who knocked you out) right in front of you and still couldn't knock him out

I've felt this way about Lewis for a while now too. George Foreman has said Lewis is the greatest heavyweight ever.

I don't think his legacy is greater than Ali's or Louis's necessarily, but Lewis against any heavyweight in history, he should be favored to beat them.

His height, boxing ability, athleticism and power make him extremely difficult to beat. He was a thinker too and knew how to wear his opponent out by throwing his weight around.

There's a case to be made Lewis was a bigger puncher than Tyson when you compare common opponents: Botha, Golota, Ruddock.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Because the guy had an insane chin (never KO'd in 70+ fights) and having somebody meltdown infront of you is strange?
