Who do you think? If you could switch bodies with his manager, who would you have him fight next?

Everyone seems to go to Botha nowadays to get a win against a vague challenger on their record which definately fits the bill of what sort of fights Deontay's management want to set up for him.

I'd be gunning for Fury. Deontae's power should be able to get Fury out very early. It's a risk but well worth it
Botha? May as well fight Tua!
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Man thats a great question. I think all of the above run the risk of being overlooked based on just being able to wake up this morning...Botha should be checked twice a day.
Seriously dude, a few fights ago I said a Sherman Williams would be a decent step. Tough hard hat guy with decent skills, perfect height advantage for Wilder. Williams off "iffy" situation with geezer legend like Holyfield, a very good close showing against another comer like Helenius and never stopped, never down in career. He also lost to a Tye Fields 11 long years ago over 12 rounds...unlike Firtha who was sparked cold by Tye 4 years ago. Ok...that was a stretch. My bad.
It would have been "ok" but 7-0 Gerald Washington fought him next. He also dropped Tank for the first time and had more of a potential learning experience less than a single year as a pro. He actually lost a couple rounds, and had to adjust.
Dunno really. Malik Scott? A comebacking Oleg Maskaev. Chavez Jr after Sunday brunchHopefully, someone respectable and not coming in to just fall over in all seriousness.
I think he has to make a play for one of the Klits or risk losing the massive payday. Vitali is one step into retirement and Wlad might be a fight or two away from doing the same. Once these two leave the division will be toiling in obscurity much worse then it is now.
Tyson Fury or Chris Arreola. Man, I'm tired of waiting for this guy to get serious. Forward, slow and cautious is good but Wilder is moving slowly and cautiously laterally. Man, shift into forward!

Love the optimism. It will be more competitive for sure. It's just that it will be a quantity over quality situation. Much like it is now only that the champ will most likely be a chunk of the quantity part. Wilder could probably get a few million fighting a Klit. He's obviously not concerned with legacy and might not make the same money over the course of his career that he makes in one fight.
He can't make a move at a Klitschko without getting some rounds in surely. Arreola would be good, or even Adamek or say ChisoraThose fights could get made I'm sure, just a matter of whether he actually wants them.
Cant agree my Muddy Waters friendThis division more then any other is based on timing with few exceptions. Fury was about to fight Haye for what was most likely a shot at one of them. Wilder has had 29 fights and is sporting a 100% ko ratio. It may be unpopular but I'd love to see him and Wlad.
I wouldn't be surprised if Wilder fights Botha, or someone like Bruce Seldon, Oleg Maskaev or even "Smokin" Bert Cooper after Firtha.
He should fight Kevin Johnson, Dereck Chisora, Mariusz Wach or Tony Thompson.
Woah woah woah. Areola? Fury? Wach? No no no, that's too dangerous!
I'm hoping Firtha is just a keep busy fight until Arreloa is ready to go again. Let's see what Schaefer has to say after the Firtha fight. They can't keep putting him in with tomato cans forever.
Wilder should fight Adamek.
