    Default Alvarado v Provodiniko

How does everyone see this fight going? Bookies have this as a pick'em fight. Is this how people see it?

I dont understand why Alvarado isnt a decent fav here. He is a much better all round fighter in my opinion. I think Provos stock went up a lot given how well he did against Bradley but Bradley fought a wrong fight in that one and if there was a rematch id say Bradley would win every round.

You can get odds of 2.2 on Alvarado with marathon bet which I think is a great bet, but even the general line of 1.83 looks too big for me. Id have made him around a 1.5 or 1.6 shot.

I think Alvarado on points. Could be knockdowns either way in this one. Mike needs to fight like he did in the Rios II fight and he should be fine.

Alverado is though but I think provo just a shade tougher, if alverado gets caught up in a tear Up he looses if he can box mostly and engage here and there he wins, I think alverado sooner or later will engage in a war n that'll cost him

Alvarado can win fairly easy if he fights smart.

I've still only ever seen Provo against Bradley so not sure how good he is in reality. If he can make Alvarado fight I think he'd win, but could be Alvarado just boxes his head off.

Great fight but the question is will Alvarado stand his ground or make it easy on himself and box.

That's what decides the fight IMO. Mike has nice boxing skills and I expect him to take this one on points but Provodnikov is a beast who will keep coming so if Alvarado gets drawn into a fight he'll be taken out

Alvarado should do what he did in the second Rios and out box Prov, but that is easier said than done.

I don't know what'll happen but I feel confident that at the end of this one we'll again be reminded why we love the sport. But, I like Provo in the end. Alvarado will have to stand his ground and even as he boxes which is still a bit new to him he can be hit. I'm not sure he has the firepower to keep Provo off. Both will bust up though. I don't buy Provo only did well against Bradley cause of Tim not fighting smart. The kid has these axe handle blows and unlike Marquez who sat in a pocket trying to time and punch with Bradley's jab, Provo attacked him and brought bigger bricks. Thinking he'll approach Alvarado the same but with higher volume and improved stamina at the elevation.

I've been looking forward to this fight for sometime. These guys are both fan friendly so it is bound to be good. I'm leaning towards Alvarado but I'm a big fan of his so I may be thinking with my heart. Saturday, HBO will replay Bradley v JMM prior to Alvarado v Provod so it will be an excellent night of boxing.

Surely you don't want to watch that again? I thought that was an awful fight. They'll get more viewers if they don't replay it.
