WEIGH IN
This should be a cracking fight. I worry about Alvarado who seems to be in tough fight after tough fight. He will need to do what he did against Rios last time and forget about going to war with Provodnikov. If he does that, he has all the tools to rack up the points and get the win. If he gets macho as he can then, then there will be fireworks. He doesn't need to give fireworks as he himself might well get sparked. Just box the guy.
BUMP!!!!!
This is an outstanding fight. Hide the kids and sticky this bad boy. I got both cut by the 4th and Provo tko late.
Ive backed Alvarado heavy. Bit concerned with him struggling to make weight. In worl early tomorrow too so wont be able to stay up to watch it
Was just checking out HBO for US west coast and they are advertising a replay of Marquez vs Bradley and then Alvarado vs Provodnikov.
Alvarado and Provadnikov do not have a pretty style but it's fun to watch, I'll enjoy it and be cringing at the same time.
Should be a great action packed fight. Alvarado is the better boxer and worker in there. I'm picking him to outbox the lil Asian-Russian powerhouse. Alvarado by decision.
What time are we expecting the main event tonight ??
Well I just switched from Satt to cable and combined tv with internet to save some cash. I had Hbo E and Hbo W and now HBO east only. I live in the Yukon FFS. Every event they broadcast for me is a buck short. Thank whoever for the abundance of the alternative method. I've complained to the local cable company and they seem time zone retarded.
I've got Alvarado winning a close decision. Diaz is next up then it's the main event, amirite?
I am curious to see if Prod will be a bit more refined for this fight. Anyone know how long Roach was working with Prod prior to the Bradley fight. I'm still leaning towards Alvarado but this one is not a gimmie
Top Rank with another high quality undercard. Jeebus.
