Default Floyd Mayweather Vs Vasyl Lomanchenko

A fight we're unlikely ever to see because the desire seems to be for Floyd to keep moving up in weight but do you think Lomanchenko could provide Floyd with a decent challenge before his career is over?

I highly doubt it. FLoyd would end Loma's career imo..

Lomchenko has had one pro fight. It's pretty much impossible he'll make himself a credible and marketable opponent for Floyd even in a few years. I do think he is a terrific little fighter from what I've seen, can't wait to see him fight somebody good. Is the fight with Salido still possible next? Haven't heard anything of that since right after they both fought last.

Amazing talent this Ukrainian fella is.
Saw his last and first pro fight and he really is something special.
Absolutely no doubt in my mind he will he a world champ next year and in only his 2nd pro fight!
Not a chance him and Floyd will meet though, timing of their careers is all wrong ;-)

You mean his hand? Fighting Salido would be a great test for Loma, think he'll dominate and that's crazy for his second fight. The guy is really good, no need to rush him that much though.

    Is Lomanchenko that good?

He won about 379 amateur fights double Olympic gold and I think the Worlds and ruined a seasoned pro in his first fight as a pro.
He's got every punch in in the book and hits hard to the body too.
If he's got a decent chin he's gonna be a multi weight superstar ;-)

Orlando Salido is a rugged and proven champion.

I wouldn't write him off so easily.

The last thing Lomanchenko should be thinking is that he is ready, almost ready or belongs in a professional ring with Floyd Mayweather. Arum on the other hand could care less and he has a future if it doesn't work pushing this hopeful, while Lomanchenko is risking becoming another trivia question.

This guy has 1 professional fight. One. I don't care how many amatuer conquests he has. One step at a time.

Not to mention that 126 is a bit south. By the time he gets even near 147 if he ever does at all, Floyd will be wearing a hearing aid.

Its very hard to know. In an amateur fight Loma wins. And Floyd was a top amateur too. As a pro it depends how Loma progresses. They will likely never fight but I could see people asking in 6 or 7 years when Loma is 30-0 who was better. Judging by Lomans early career you have to say he looks like he will be fighting the tougher opponents.

That guy he fought, if he did in fact have a record of 24-2 or whatever it was, he has been matched very very carefully. He was not good at all; a perfect first fight opponent, inflated record and all.

Lomachenko is a light-weight southpaw version of Mike Tyson, able to fight not only forward, but also going backwards. He is special

Lol? You have no idea mate. Ramirez just beat Rey Bautista who is a very decent fighter. He is being matched so carefully that he is fighting 3 time world champion Salido next. You haters of amateur fighter need to get a grip
