Harsh, rip. Pretty sure I remember him fighting Joan Guzman on a replay or something from way back, he wasn't a gifted fighter persay but kept it competitive, obviously knew how to fight and was tough as hell. He stopped a young Jose Luis Castillo twice, in the 10th round each time, that says enough right there.
This guy was a regular on fnf for a while. Skinny, unathetic looking little man, but he had the heart of a champion and was always in shape. I remember rooting for him.
He will be missed.
I remember the second Castillo fight. Amazing! RIP
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

He Who Is Brave Is Free
Wisdom, compassion and courage are the three universally recognised moral qualities of men.
40 yrs old is just a damn shame. Tragic man. He was a very solid professional, all heart.
