Default Who will be the best promoter to handle Pacquiao in his fight against Mayweather Jr.?

Floyd will not fight Pacquiao if he's promoted by Bob Arum (Top Rank) so who's best to promote Pacquiao in the Floyd fight?

Pick your choice in the poll.

Vince McMahon? Or I'm trying to think of a music promoter who has worked with a bunch of divas

The fight either happens soon or it doesn't, strikes me it could be more likely than ever due to money, but there might be no hope for it either. I don't know what Arum might owe or have done to Floyd but to my knowledge Floyd has not fought anybody signed under Top rank since he left them, so he has been consistent with that. Stinks a bit when you think they were at least negotiating a few years ago, I'm sure if the purse was split heavily in Mayweathers favour he'd still take the fight.

Cedric Kushner or Don King (he's on the poll)... they are the only two promoters so far removed from the action, in a positive way, that can get a deal done.

Al Haymon should be a front runner... out of everyone...

A non-American promoter wouldn't understand the importance of this fight. This has to be done on US Soil.

In reality though, the only thing less likely than Floyd and Arum exchanging Christmas presents is another promoter being able to pull this off. Pacquiao's next fight is in April and with Arum of course, could anyone fill me in on what his actual contract is? He isn't about to do business without top rank anytime soon I suspect.

I bet that contract almost includes his kids. Even when he retires he will be emeritus Top Rank Just in case he unretires.

Is Arum willing to free up Pacquiao just for this one fight? Maybe not.

Someone should find out when Pacs contract with Arum will be done.

I've often wondered how that is not public knowledge. Perhaps its part of his contract.

That would take unselfishness on Arums part. I'm not sure he is capable.

50 Cent of course. Just don't expect the fight any time soon and when it does go down look for it in boxing's capital; Canada.

It'd just be easier if everyone was under Golden Boy.

I have no sympathy for guys like Don King and Bob Arum, because those are the greedy, money grabbing cocksuckers who fucked boxing with overpriced shit-show PPV's that sent boxing plummeting towards irrelevance.

    Golden Boy all the way.
