Default Hidden Classics... list some fights that doesn't get enough recognition

Arce-Hussein Hussein 1- I remember seeing this one live on the Pac-Morales 1 undercard and I was blown the fuck away.. Many would argue that Arce stold the show that night.. Props to Hussein as well for the valiant effort.. Both took tremendous amount of punishment but Hussein was never the same after this fight while Arce is still here..

    Marquez-Barrera.... A purist's wet dream..

Martin Castillo-Alexander Munoz..... This fight is hard to come by but I believe it was on the Pac-Morales 2 undercard and shit was bananas from what i remember.. This fight was also better than the main event..

Vincente Escobedo-Dominic Salicido..... There was a time when GBP was grooming Escobedo as the next golden boy but shit fucked up real quick when they threw him in too quick.. it was 08 and he was still relevant at the time, trying to make a name for himself.. He was up against an undefeated, flashy Salcido who gave him hell until he found a way...

I am familiar with most of these and I'd like to add Ebo Elder vs. Courtney Burton to the list.

It was a great fight and the ending was something out of a Rocky movie!

I was a fan of the Paulie Ayala-Bones Adams series. If I remember correctly the first fight was spectacular. The second one was average but still had that mystique due to the first one. I'm gonna have to YouTube them. It's been a while

James Pipps vs Carmelo (?) Negron. Great fight, it was the headliner over Holyfield's 7th fight. It was a draw and both guys got 60 day medical suspensions. I used to own it on tape but have never found it on-line.

I recently watched Rosario v J L Ramirez 4th round stoppage, it was a brilliant fight.

Haugen vs Chris Calvin. Calvin was a very very hard hitter- he had killed a man- and I think Haugen was expected to lose. Pretty good fight, as I remember it.

Good chin and pretty nice left hand by Haugen. Interesting to note that, in the fight before this one, Haugen beat Freddie Roach.

I always liked Haugen. He had all the fundamentals down well and was extremely tough.

He's also highly critical of other fighters as on Facebook I've seen him criticizing Brian Vera on his last match with Chavez.

Been watching old crusty tape last week and Troy Dorsey v Kelly took center stage. Epic! Luis Perez v Machado uno was good. Ornelus v McKart 1. Carr v Ras-I Bramble (still a robbery )
