    Default Most intimidating

I am sick in bed and on drugs (perfectly legal of course) so forgive this thread if it seems like it was posted by someone on bed and on drugs.

You are going into a street fight with 5 boxers at your side (current or past) with the sole intention of intimidating the other group. Both sides are matched in size so that is not a factor. Just sheer intimidation by physical or verbal presence. Not necessarily fighting ability. Who would you pick?

Iran Barkly, Hearns, Mayorga (for his mouth), Arreola, Liston

    Sure there are lots more.

Even though looks dont mean shit and I wouldnt choose my side based on how hard they looked lol ...

But to answer your question.. Just by looks Id go with..

Vitali - He has this look of bad ass Russian mobster and his sheer size could be intimidating..

I kinda like Vitali's facial expression..

    Tommy Hearns

Gerald McCllelan- He had a stone cold look and dude just looks like a killer.. Real recognized real

Denis Lebedev- He looks like a Russian mob henchman with his fucked up lips that looks like a straight up battle scar..

    Kovalev

Pacquiao- I know people are going to disagree but when Pacman has a straight face, he has an eye of a killer..

Margarito- Pure bad ass... With shaved head, he looks like some down ass cholo but once he grew out his hair and wore sunglasses, he turned into a fuckin Mexican Cartel member.. Margarito is my boy right there..

Rafael Marquez- Rafael probably has the best mad dog by far.. Rafael has this eye squinching thing going on, it's hard to explain but he looks like a gangster.. He looks like a fighter through and through..

BTW, hope you get better pal.. get plently of rest

So, just assuming size was equal, does that mean they would all magically be HW's to make things interesting? I'd pick 5 of the youngest amateur boxers I could find in that case, children just barely able to balance and throw punches, but with the dimensions of Tyson Fury. I don't think it would really matter if they could do anything useful, who would fuck with that.

Why is everyone picking heavyweights. It's a bar fight. They get hit with trash cans equally Dwight Braxton, Nigel Benn, Agapito Sanchez, Vinny Pazienza, Jeff Fenech for starters

This one was a fun one along similar lines http://www.saddoboxing.com/boxingfor...eet-fight.html

I think the HW's would be still the most effective in a bar fight. Strength matters in a real fight more than in boxing even.

As for Mike and Ike, yeah good point, definitely intimidating but maybe a bit crazy and unreliable LOL

Bowe is a great one. When I made the post I meant that we were trying to avoid a fight to begin with through intimidation so I wasn't concerned with skills. But Bowe got it covered both ways. As someone said, looks don't mean shit but some people scare me more than others. GGG doesn't scare me at all if I didn't know him. Some of his opponents would have scared me more. They both would have beaten me up but he would have done it quicker. That is why I wanted to take size out of the equation. Duran in his prime is about the same size as my mother but a little scarier. Actually if you met her you would understand why I said 'a little bit'
