Default Broner did better against maidana

Me and my friend got into a little back and forth argument about the mayweather maidana fight because he thought that mayweather won and I thought maidana won. So he starts saying mayweather landed the clearer punches and I said "does hitting glove and air count as landed for mayweather?" Then he starts saying how mayweathers punches were actually hurting maidana so I said ya I'll give you that but HE ONLY LANDED LIKE 3 GOOD PUNCHES A ROUND IF HE THREW ANY! I only saw like 3 or 4 rounds that floyd won clearly. Other then that I didn't see how you could score the other rounds for him. Finally he keeps talking about it and I look at him and just said I'm just gonna rewatch it and score but then I said you remember the broner maidana fight? And he says ya. I replied saying." I think broner did better then mayweather". Then he couldn't disagree with me about that and started changing his mind a little bit saying he's going to rewatch it too. But I do feel broner did better then mayweather. Floyd deserved the L. But like I said I'll rewatch it first.

Sounds like you had trouble giving Floyd rounds where he landed a few good ones and hit mostly air and gloves, but you have no trouble giving Maidana rounds where he landed a few good ones and hit mostly air and gloves.

To say that Broner did better against Maidana is a bit ridiculous, given the fact that Broner was dropped twice and hurt numerous times and clearly lost the fight, whereas Maidana never really had Mayweather in trouble and most believe Mayweather won the fight (albeit by a slim margin).

I think in these cases where people really genuinely hate Mayweather and want to see him lose desperately, they subconsciously score his opponent's attack as being a lot more effective than it actually was.

In round 10, Floyd only landed ONE PUNCH... the entire round... ONE PUNCH... and it was the punch at the end of the round, with about 2 seconds left to go. How could anyone have given Floyd that round?!?!?!?
    Bigger man George, bigger punch!

You can say Devon Alexander showed better than both...but it doesn't mean anything. I'm sure Devon enjoyed the show from his couch last night

And Amir Khan beat and knocked down Chino so he must be feeling good too.

Do you since the whole time leading up to the fight you were calling Maidana a bum saying Floyd would KO him?
