Default Floyd's speed and reflexes have irreversibly deteriorated

Floyd's lack of speed, elusiveness and legs were not an anomaly against Maidana. Speed isn't something you turn on and turn off just because you may underestimate an opponent.

Aside from a few adjustments, this is the Mayweather we will see in future fights. He's NOT going to suddenly gain his quickness back. When has that ever happened? Look, it happens to even the best of athletes whose abilities are dictated by speed.

I'm a fan of Floyd, but it's all downhill from here on, and deep down I believe Floyd believes it too.

those combos he threw were impressive...as was his defense.

Floyd must have been going downhill against Oscar too because he faught off the ropes a lot in that fight too.

The guy can't do anything right.

If he uses the ring he's a scared safety first pot-shotting coward.....
If he gets in the trenches he's deteriorated.

Go back and watch some of his fights when he first moved to WW...you will see the same thing you saw saturday night.

Pacquiao had an easier time with Bradley recently then Floyd did with Maidana. Bradley the #2 welterweight at time and Maidana who everyone thought had beat Broner due to him jumping up in weight. Pac looked better then he had in he's last 3 fight minus the power and Floyd just looked not himself.

He looked damn sharp against Canelo. Maybe he has hit the end but I'll need to see a 2nd bad outing because anyone can have an off night.

He's 37, and the fact that he is still fighting at the top level at this age is remarkable in itself. We've all seen it so many times before, Chavez was 31 when Whitaker boxed his ears off in 93', by the time DLH got hold of him in 96' he was 34 and pretty much done. Whitaker was 35 when he fought Trinidad and his major assets in the ring were long gone. Mosley, DLH and Tszyu all staggered on well into their mid 30's, DLH was 35 when he fought Pacman. Mosley was already 33 by the 2nd Wright fight, Tszyu was going on 36 when he fought Hatton. They had all lost their sting by this time.
Now we see Pacman losing his aura of invincibility over the past 4 years, he is no where near the fighter he was from 2008-2011.
Floyd is human and he will lose some speed and that ability to not get hit, Maidana to his credit fought his own fight and didn't allow Floyd any chance to implement plan b or c. He won because of his sheer brilliance and ring experience. Nobody has ever landed that many punches on Floyd in one fight before, so maybe father time has finally caught up with him?
When i was watching Mosley stumble around against Mundine last year i was thinking could this ever happen to Floyd? I said to myself "nah", but i have changed my opinion finally. He will lose within a year.

undiniable Foyd has lost an will continue to o lose his magic but I think those words will to used to often to discredit what Maidana did. Let's not forget all the pass there prime Champs Floyd had fought in the past and has fans rattled at anyone who brought it up. Floyd does not currently advertise himself as greatest who has lost a step, he's still Floyd. Floyd's style will certainly prolong his career more so than that of Manny. Floyd senior said that was the emphasis on both who he fought and how he trained. Brilliant business decisions. Using that as a guideline I would be surprised to see a rematch, I would actually give Floyd a lot of credit. We could say, ah, Floyd got him figured out this time so no big deal but. Chino and no joke and it may be bad for your health to think you have him figured out.

The money may be very appealing for Floyd to take a #2. When's the last time that was even brought up on the canvass right after a Floyd fight. So give Chino his do, it wasn't that long ago Floyd made Canelo and Garcia look like Children. I don't think the main issue with this fight is Floyd's speed, I think Floyd's problem is Chino

By the way, Anyone here from Argentina, I'm just wondering if he is getting the royal treatment upon his return, son of a hitch deserved

Lol no shit eh. This stuff is hilarious. Cant even think of a response. The guy who has never had a bad outing since the first Castillo fight does not make an opponent look silly and he's written off. Drive through boxing.

Yes. Its as clear as day with this insight now. Floyd has aged. Woah Nelly. He realized this moons ago and invested accordingly with 6 payday run and thought out match making. All things considered he has adapted well to resetting close and maintaining that upper body management. You can pick a handful of earlier fights where he fought like a purse swinging chump and would not have thought he could show what he did Sat. night in endurance and adjustment. And in case I haven't said it..I cant stand the motherfunker but fair is fair.

Only Floyd can be trashed for aging. It's funny the pedestal those that don't like him put him on, it's even offensive to others that don't like him!

Damn you Floyd for doing what every human who has ever lived did, damn you all to hell!!

Maidana would put Bradley in the hospital.
