    Default lost in translation

Thought we could have a thread trying to understand different views that might not be so different. Maybe it's a wording issue more than a fight issue.

    For instance:
Bradley/Provodnikov I've seen people say Prov made Tim go to war. I disagree. Tim circled the first 1:10 then Tim stopped moving laterally and they began going to war. Tim wasn't forced to the ropes, he wasn't cut off or cornered, he was circling and boxing then he stopped circling and stepped to Prov in the center of the ring. He didn't take a lateral step the rest of the round. I don't see "forcing" there. But I could understand saying Tim stepped to him and Prov took advantage of that hurting Bradley. And once Bradley was hurt he had no option but to go to war since his legs weren't as good. And since Prov took advantage he "forced" it.

Can someone who thought Provodnikov forced a war explain how in boxing terms they viewed Provodnikov forcing the war??

Prov fights face first and is always in a war. That is how he wins fights. Bradley wanted to make a statement and nearly got knocked out. He out boxed Prov most of the rounds. No way would Bradley deliberately try and engage Prov, Tim would want to choose the times he wanted to fight Prov and box him. Bradley was lucky to survive the onslaught. He will never fight like that again with Prov.
