    Default Yamanaka-Jamoye & KiKo Martinez-Hasegawa this week !!

Unbeaten Japanese southpaw, WBC bantamweight champ Shinsuke Yamanaka (20-0-2, 15 KOs) will make his sixth defense in Osaka, Japan, where he will cope with Belgian challenger Stephane Jamoye (25-4, 15 KOs) on Wednesday. Both already entered the fight place Osaka, which is near to Yamanaka’s native place Shiga prefecture from which some 3,500 adherents will come to hail his homecoming. On the same show, formerly WBC bantam and feather titlist Hozumi Hasegawa (33-4, 15 KOs) will attempt to acquire his third world belt as he will have an highly anticipated shot against IBF 122-pound ruler Kiko Martinez (30-4, 22 KOs) of Spain.

Yamanaka is a prohibitive prefight favorite against Jamoye, who previously suffered defeats by such name boxers as Leo Santa Cruz and Jamie McDonnell. Yamanaka gained the WBC interim belt by halting Cristian Esquivel and elevated to the full champ, successfully making his initial defense against formidable Vic Dachinyan. Since then, Yamanaka, a hard-hitting lefty, registered all four defenses within the distance since and fully demonstrated his power-punching ability to greatly attract our fight fans. We are looking forward to watching Yamanaka’s spectacular knockout victory, whether early or late.

Hasegawa, a 33-year-old southpaw veteran, forfeited his second belt in the 126-pound category at the hand of Jhonny Gonzalez via quick knockout three years ago. For him, his best weight might be a super-bantam category, where he will have an ambitious shot at the busy-punching Spaniard Martinez, five years his junior. The champ said, “It’s Kiko Martinez time, not Hasegawa time. I’ll bring back my belt to Spain.” Both are reported to be in good shape and will show a highly competitive contest.

The doubleheader will be presented by Teiken Promotions in association with Shinsei Promotions

    War Yamanaka and Hozumi!!!

Look for Yamanaka to destroy the joe blow Jamoye and if Hasegawa is anywhere near his old form, Martinez can't deal with that shit..

If Hasegawa loses, it's only because he's shop worn.. obviously..

Yamanaka should win. But I doubt he blows out Jamoye. Jamoye is a tough, solid fighter. He doesn't get blown out. Cruz stopped him in 6 with a body shot. But it was a pretty even fight up to that point.

Hasegawa still has enough skills to school Martinez. He just can't take a punch. His chin is cracked. If he loses it's cuz it let him down

Martinez is better then u give him credit. I think he'll win this one easily. Yamanaka wins this easy. Funny finito, if this was GGG you'd question the weak opposition

Martinez is a good fighter indeed and he seems to have elevated his game up a notch but a prime Hasegawa is on a different league and Martinez would crumble..

Yamanaka has beaten Christian Esquivel in his 17th bout and dominated Darchinyan in the very next while GGG pads his record with part time baggage handlers like Adama the Ishidas... oh and stevens..

Jesse brinkley and primera beat stevens too lol..

    Yamanaka is legit bro..

Bookine over here has gone 1/8 Martinez (I was 8/13). 4/1 on Hasegawa does sound big to me given the fight is in Japan. Would you back it?

I would wager a little bit on Hasegawa with that odd..

If it goes the distance, I'm pretty sure the right man will get the decision because Japan has fair judges.

Ladbrokes went up briefly but the odds were so different to PPs that they must have decided to pull it

It's over for Hasegawa. He was winning. But it's always only a matter of time till he gets caught
