Nothing like sitting in on emergency splenectomy at 9pm . Just walked in door to see Davis rocked, looks in deep water here?

Yep. Davis out fought and outclassed. Looks like another guy in dire need of a reality check and got beat down a peg or three. Not shedding tears at missing Billy Dib fight

Watching the Dib fight was torture for me. It was a sloppy, sloppy affair with the referee having too big a part in the outcome.
You described Davis v Farenas perfectly, Farenas gave Davis a reality check with a harsh spanking. I have to say I enjoyed this one because Davis was doing a lot of trash talking at the weight-in. He must have been building up his own courage because Farenas speaks limited English.
There were three fights on the card, we both missed the first fight. I was out watering and playing with the dogs letting the time got away from me, while you were busy "setting in" on a emergency splenectomy. Hope everything went well.

Man just sorry I missed the whole fight. Frankly Davis had it coming, we saw him last year and was popping off like a punk with 'WHO WANTS SOME' and taunting Osibe. Just another in a long line who want to be stars before they do work. Turns out Farenas wanted some Yeh bud, we're good it was of the four legged variety on a Komondor. Thanks for the heads up.

I had a decent bet on Farenas so was delighted with the beating he gave Davis. Billy Dib is such a bum, he is just a horrible fighter and disgracefully dirty. He has o chance against the top 5 in the div

Davis v Farenas was a good fight, there is a thread about favorite fights and where the old war horse beats the young undefeated up and coming fighter that is alwyas good to see. However I felt sorry for Davis, he was doing everything wrong but still willing to stand and trade and try and win. His dad coming into the ring was embarassing for the young boy. Hope he recovers, adhusts and comes back.

This was an eliminater, who does the winner now fight?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Couldn't agree more, Dib is dirty. The ref was terrible, Dib should have been DQed!
Teddy really disappointed me, he should have been screaming his head off about the ref but it was like the night before XMASS, as far as Teddy was concerned.
The only reason I would ever watch Dib again is to see him get his ass kicked. Dib=Dirtest In Boxing

You have a good heart sir, which I appreciate even if nobody else does. Here is the thing, if you engage in trash talking you have to back it up, if you don't then you are open for anything people have to say. I know I'm not telling you anything you don't already know but I don't like trash talking at all, so when somebody overloads their ass with their mouth I just really enjoy the hell out of it. I have some dark spots around the edges! LOL

The winner gets the No. 2 spot and gets to challenge the winner of the fight between IBF super featherweight Champion Argenis Mendez and No. 1 contender Rances Barthelemy.
From the SUN.STAR newspaper on July 2, 2014.

Remember the Mendez vs Barthelemy fight? big controversy about a KO punch after the bell.
