Great team, forgot about the truly great players.

I've seen most of them playing live too
Pretty cool being able to see Wembley Stadium from your house.
Apart from Suarez and Messi im pretty sure the rest I've seen.
Cantona and Bergkamp were hard to leave out of that 11.

being from scotland i havent seen too many great players in the flesh :S but from the fellows i have watched a lot on the tv here is my team of less obvious great players :S I have not turned 30 yet so i dont really remember the great old players.
gk kahn
rb thuram
lb Lizarazu
cb nesta
cb lucio
rm bernd schneider
lm seedorf
cm pirlo
cm ballack
cf henrik larsson
cf di natale :S
I saw henrik play a good few times and he was just great alround, could have played for much better teams than celtic, which i think he proved with his short spell at barcelona at an advanced age.. di natale has been a great goalscorer for a good few years now at a not so great team, and he played very well when i was at hampden for scotland v italy..
tried to leave out the most obvious players and replaced them with players who i think would work well together and form a very strong team..

George Best, Kenny Dalglish, Paul Gacoigne, Luis Suarez, Elvis Presley, Mr Messi, Terry Butcher, Pat Butcher, Alan Hansen, John Barnes, Pele, Socrates, Plato, Zeus, John Fashanu, Steven Gerrard, and of course, James Toney.
Neville Southall in goal, Mick Quinn up front. Everyone else can fuck off and sit on the bench. If fat Mick doesnt do the business up top we'll settle for a nil nil draw.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
Peter Shilton
Mark Dennis
Claudio Gentile
Daniel Passarella
Joe Bolton
Will think about the midfield and forwards. Nobody is going to be doing any scoring against my team anyway.
