"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
Not so quiet fight... he is doing like many heavyweights and cashing out in russia with their name. The worse fight was the fight before that where he went down...
That one last saturday wasn't THAT bad... Still gets shaken by lots of shots... his legs are shut
its very sad if he is doing it only because he needs money
take your kids out of private school
sell your house
theres nothing more valuable than your health
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
Why does Roy Jones still fight?
Good points, Eric.
Health is priority and his kids can go somewhere public and he can get a cheaper house and maybe he can learn a skill with some of the money. But boxing is done and why have a family if you cannot enjoy them after too many hits to the head? He cannot even get bit fights now, so the money must be diminishing. Change tact Mr Williams.
Danny Williams must be broke or bankrupt, he has tried changing his name, fights abroad and not under an British license.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
He still fights for the same reason Mike Tyson kept fighting and ended up losing to guys like Danny Williams.
Cold, hard cash.
The Bomber’s record is 46-23-0 and he has become nothing more than an opponent where even a moderate punch is now enough to send him to the canvas. Yet he insists on fighting on even though the risk-reward has long ago moved into an alarmingly dangerous zone where the road only knows one direction.
Fact is, his adoring fans probably sense that Danny doesn’t really know when to quit because he simply doesn’t know anything else.
Says Danny, “It’s just a fact I enjoy fighting and since the age of eight it has been a part of me. I don’t know anything else”
