Huck isn't great but he's very strong at cruiser and is the kind of guy that will make anyone fight hard, I can't see this being a good idea. Nelson may well still have the ability to win, but he hasn't fought in ten years, surely he'd need a tune up to test his legs a bit.

Nelson needs the money clearly. He's been in some abysmal fights. He should have lost to Guilermo Jones when they fought.

Hes old and has been inactive. He's fooling himself because he's in good shape for a man his age that he can jump in to a world title fight and not just be competitive but win. Im not so sure he thinks he can win but if people are gullible enough to believe it and want to watch a shit fight where an old man runs away then fair play.

Huck will smash him to pieces and early.

You are so unfortunate. I am a man who was spoilt by watching Nelson/Deleon, Nelson/Warring and luckily in person, Nelson/Akinwande.

As I said to my cell mate 'Big Frank'; it has not scared me one bit!

Nelson can get upset as he likes but he's the one who started this. Saying he'd do Huck easy. He needs to remember Huck is an active, current world champion and Nelson is trying to piss on his chips. Huck will be a little off to him.

Hopefully it does come off. Might shut Nelsons stupid american accent shit he does with Kugan Cassius.

Are they still trying to make Huck-Nelson?

Last I heard...Marco's breaking away from Sauerland. Not to mention, he's targeting a fight with Wladimir for next year. Also, I heard HBO was interested in Huck...if he moves up.

Johnny Nelson always comes across so normal and reasonable on television. It's kind of strange hearing him talk like that, but maybe that's how he is off the TV. I have no idea. I'm not sure a comeback is a good idea and certainly not against a top level fighter. Why not a warm up just to see if he has anything first? A warm up says you are dedicated, whilst wanting the big fight straight away suggests it's more about a payday.

Your first sentence summed it up for me. I'm Surprised that Nelson's employers let him talk like a twat , even if it is only to IFL TV (nothing against Kugan Cassius cos I think he's great). He's got a serious Pundits job to do , for instance , you wouldn't hear Ruud Gullit being interviewed by someone and going all "Street" and "Black this and that, Blud" and "f"ing all over the shop! I'm probably coming over as a miserable old sap, but Nelson needs to decide if he's a respectable SKY pundit, or if he's Sheffield's version of 50 Cent!!
He's sensing a fast buck, but he wants to be careful SKY don't pull the plug on him, no matter how much Adam Smith thinks the sun shines out of his ass!!
