Default Duran vs Mayorga at welter...

What is your take on a fight like that? 15 round fight, in Panama.

My view: It would have gone the full 15 rounds. Duran would have done great work going in and out on Mayorga, working his body and head. The footwork and balance is superior Duran. Mayorga would have given him some fits because of his power and strength, knocking Duran down, but he would be on the downside on the cards. If Duran would only brawl, Mayorga would have prevailed. I remember him demolish strong welters with raw power and toughness.
In the end Duran would win a decision, being exhausted from punching an unbreakable man, but taking the cheers from his fans.

I used to love Mayorga, before he became a lazy cunt.

At his best, he would have a puncher's chance.

He'd probably get his ears boxed off and stopped late on body shots as Duran did not like to suffer fools.

Duran would outclass him, maybe stop him late.

I was also into that he would stop Mayorga, but in my eyes Ricardo was too tough-as-nails to be stopped by Duran. He would take punishment, yes, but he would stan up to it until the end at welter. Tito had to bang him real hard at middleweight to even score the knockdowns, Forrest blasted him without putting him down. Andrew Lewis nailed him too without prevailing. Even later in his career, except Oscar, they had to wear him down far into a fight to stop him.

It's a probable UD but I can see Duran wearing him down Davey Moore style. Duran wasn't a big puncher at WW and wasn't going to get him out of their early with a couple of shots. It would have to be a prolonged beating.
