    Default Boxing fans are gullible.

If there's one thing I've learned from being on multiple boxing forums, it's that boxing has the most gullible fans of any sport. This explains why they keep thinking Mayweather-Pacquiao will happen when it's been five years. If it was going to happen, it would have by now.

This also explains why they keep falling for hypejobs, despite them being totally unproven. When that hypejob gets exposed, they move on to the next unproven fighter, and the cycle continues.

Boxing fans are also incredibly fickle. They hype up a fighter, and when that fighter loses, they're quick to dismiss him by saying, "Bum", "He got exposed", "He has a glass jaw", or "Oh, he wasn't that good anyway".

Sports fans in general say the same.

Can't wait to TTT this when Pac/Floyd is announced.

It'll happen. There's way too much money involved for it to not happen.

& very biased with the eras they/we grow up in.

Last site I was at, a guy I call Uncle J, cool 50 plus guy swears up & down..Joe Louis...they don't make em like that anymore.

Hate to tell 'em...he's right. Now they make 'em about 3-5 inches taller 30-50lbs heavier...

all sports fans do the same thing. the difference is that boxing isnt a league like most sports. they have to actually try to make big fights. in team sports, there are just teams that have to play other teams. the league has rules and you have to follow the rules. the problem with boxing is that there is no set of rules declaring that you have to fight anybody and there are always loopholes. too many organizations and promoters.

"It hasn't happened yet, so it never will" seems like a bit of a logical fallacy to me...
