If I'm Froch I'm all over this. If I were him I'd forget about the Vegas dream for this one and get it in England. Ward does not really have a leg to stand on when it comes to venue and if Carl could even this up, he'd most likely get anybody he wanted in Vegas to close the show.

I'm guessing Ward has pushed his Emeritus status which guarantees him a shot at the Regular title.

Its a quick way for ward to skip the line after the inactivity, but I don't think Froch will oblige. If froch was in the middle of his career, I think he would.

If he only has a last hurrah left in him, I can't blame him for not wanting to be hugged, slow danced and hit on the break for a whole fight. He wants to go out swinging big, mixing it up in a fight where he can use his strengths and putting an exclamation mark on his career.

100% if he ever has a chance to beat him its now. I dont rate Froch but a win over Ward would certainly put him up there with Calzaghe as one of the great English fighters.
