As long as it's not too hard and heavy, no. i really dont think theres any danger in stunting (i'm assuming you meant to say stunt and not spirt) growth unless its below the age of 12.
as long as you're not trying to be a body builder. just drink alot of milk, because the extra weight can cause knee and other bone problems if they're weak (or undeveloped, pre-teen and below)
alot say it's a myth altoghter
thanks people, yea i ment stunt![]()

Its linked to a cautionary tale of teen bodybuilders who use steroids, using steroids that young causes an influx of testosterone leading to a premature capping of the long bones.
There is no evidence to support either argument but i've yet to see a 5ft midget complaining that working out affected his genetics.
thats true what gutshot said...as steroids basically are a 'man testosterone' so when you young or going through puberty youre not or only getting small doses of this as youre growing. when you inject the steroids...you are giving you body the testosterone of a grown adult...which in turn like gutshot said...stops your growth...by capping the bones.
and please can you guys call it resistance training or weight training...as well weight lifting is more directed at the bodybuilding
