Willie Limond is very underrated.
Facts about him.
He dated my big sister for a while.
I chased him with a golf club.
He played in my father in laws footy team and had to postpone a fight due to an injury he sustained.
Known him since I can remember.
His record is great with 4 losses to Alex Arthur, Amir Khan, Erik Morales and Anthony Crolla. No shame there.
He hasnt stepped up well, but he beat Curtis Woodhouse just recently and I'd like to see him on skysports for his title defences!

He used to train sometimes at denniston boxing club when I was there and he never ever looked that good in the gym also used to see Ricky burns a lot in morrisons he's another who looked very average

You never said you knew Willie Limond before? That has come out of the blue. Why is Willie under rated? Is it simply because you know him?
Alex Arthur was at the top of his game when he beat Limond I bet if they had a rematch now Willie would win.

It isn't really a big thing, he was from the same scheme as me. He was older than me so we werent best mate but my bigger sister an brother ran about with him.
I think he's under rated as he never get fights on Sky or even much publicity at all. He only ever lost to quality fighters.

I think Limond got plenty of credit for turning a solid domestic level career into a fighter on the fringes of world class. He clearly worked very hard and got the rewards because of that.

He was on the Bunce ESPN podcast this week.
Said he's been injured. Has some kind of agreement to fight the Jenkins-Nurse winner for his British title that he gave up. Is promoting shows in Scotland.
