Broner is about to become a 4 weight world champ - how?

So despite losing his last match pretty comprehensively, Broner has been given a chance to win another world title, this time at light welter.

Did they make him fight their top ranked fighter, the one holding the interim world belt? Nope, fighting a guy who has fought twice in since 2012 and lost his last fight!

What a joke, makes a mockery of real world champions and their achievements.

I agree, if you take away the fact that it's for a title this should be a good fight though. I've heard this Khabib could have easily got the nod over Jessie Vargas, and aside from that fight his record would suggest he's pretty good. Guy is only 24 and a lefty, plus he had a good quote about Broner, something like "he's a talented boxer, but as a man I have nothing good to say about him". That's all I need to root for the guy :P

It's been said many times. Broner is his own worst enemy.
It's like his head is screwed on with left handed threads. He can't help it he's just different!

Changed it bud. This strictly about Broner being called a four division champion, quantity over quality if you ask me. Can we really mention Broner in the same sentence as Jones jr, Hearns, De La Hoya or Whitaker without laughing? Its a short cut back to relevance..and thats only if Khabib doesn't hit the lottery and send him to permanent laughing stock
