Default A question about the Pacquiao-Larios fight

I've read this fight is for Larios' super bantamweight title. Wouldnt that make it a 126 lb fight, although Pac is at 130?

I dunno bout that. I read, I believe on Boxingtalk.com, that the fight was for Larios' super bantam title.

Larios was just knocked out, he holds no title.

I mustve missed that. But if he was, why would any of us be excited seeing him fight PAc-man? There are better fights out there for Pac.

Yes and he was overweight going in to the Vazquez fight.

It was ruled that he cannot win Vazquez belt but he can lose his belt due to failing to make weights

I think Pac should have been looking to fight Barrera. I read a few weeks ago that Barrera offered him the fight, anyone knows why this fight was not made.

Barrera's full of ISH!!! He made a half a$$ offer. He's got an agrressive money hungry promotor like DLH. Believe me, if they wanted this fight, they woulda got it. He just dont want to get KO'd again.

I don't think he would Ko Barrera this time. he is too smart, and if Pac really wanted and knew he could beat Barrera, why not take the fight anyways. After all it should be about Boxing and proving he is the best right, I mean if he is, and after that he would be in position to demand whathe wants.

I've been saying for years that Barrera was afraid of a Pacquiao rematch. Being a die hard Morales fan, I'm really sick of Barrera.

So if Pac is so great, why again is he taking a fight with Larios? whom we all know is a good fighter, but not strong enough to beat Pac. why? just so he can knock him out and say ," Ooh look at me I beat another Mexican fighter". Why if he is so great? Larios is good but too small and not strong enough. I do like Pac he is very strong and I know he can punch with both hands. My thing is this. When someone wants to prove (he/she) is great they don't do it just if the money is good enough. Pay your dues first, He has paid some and he is good. But fight Barrera then for little money and knock him out then. Then there will be no room for doubts and then he can demand his matches and name his price. He is good I never said he wasn't but he is not great yet, he will be but not yet.
