Default The Dirrells V Truax and Caparello

Nothing amazing but not bad for a friday night on spike tv. Truax was stopped by jacobs last year and also lost a UD to jermaine taylor a few years ago(knocked down taylor though). Caparello knocked down Kovalev in the first round when they fought and succeeded in making kovalev angry and ended up being stopped in the 2nd round..

Not really hyped up for the dirrells anymore due to their recent defeats but these should be a couple of interesting fights, I will be watching.

Anthony is fighting Truax and Andre v Caparello btw..

Default Dirrell Dirrell and Guzman on Spike Tv.

Its not a law firm but a fight card starting now. Anthony Dirrell 28-1-1 Vs. Caleb Truax 26-2-2. Brother Andre comes in off loss to DeGale looking to rebound vs Blake "I'm the guy who knocked Kovalev down" Caparello 22-1-1. Spr Bantam Jonathan Guzman fights Daniel Rosas.

Truax had a pretty bad draw with a fellow called ossie duran from ghana(I think :S), not long before jacbos stopped him.. I have a friend who occasionally trains or trained at the same gym as Truax so I am hoping Truax does well but I don't think he has much of a chance, he will make it interesting though.

Guzman v Rosas on just now, super bantamweights. Apparenlty the winner of this will fight Shingo Wake for the wba belt, will they have to face Rigondeaux after that as he has the super wba belt?.

Guzman looks pretty good and i think he will stop him before the 6th.

I suspect guzmans shorts also shrunk in the wash/dryer or something :S

I thought he said the winner fights wake for the wba belt :S but he also just said it was an IBf eliminator...

I must have misheard him :S

Guzman is landing some powerful shots and he hurt him there , he seems pretty impatient though, wasted a lot of energy trying to finish rosas off and wasted a fair bit of energy i'd guess.

This turned into a tale of two levels in the blink of an eye, Guzman knocked him from rope to rope late third. Legs of Rosas locking up at the bell!

Sounds like winner faces Shingo Wake for Framptons vacated trinket...Rosas ranked 14th. Wow. Not so eliminator as it is guiding Guzman through door with a wink

Rosas taking and giving though in 4th, didn't come to fall down but

rosas is pretty good at staying standing... errrr now he's down :S should make it to the next round though

How old is guzman? he definently needs to calm down a bit and be a bit more disciplined, looks to me like he is wasting a load of energy on missed punches trying to finish hims off..
