I really hope that fight happens soon, maybe within a year, because I honestly think that it would be an all-time great fight in the welterweight division, alongside of Duran-Leonard, Benitez-Leonard, Hearns-Leonard, De La Hoya-Quartey, De La Hoya-Trinidad and De La Hoya-Pernell Whitaker.

I think that Mayweather could outbox Margarito from the outside but he would have to withstand Margarito's constant pressure, long reach and big shots thrown both from the outside and the inside. It would be a riveting battle, Mayweather's speed and technical skill matched against Margarito's toughness, power, conditioning and determination.

I liked the judah mayweather fight, simply because I hadnt seen anything like that incident happen in a long time. I really do hope margarito fights Mayweather, to either knock him out or get knocked out. Floyd definetely has speed and tachnique, but maragarito has amazing reach and amazing pressure.

PBF would probably win but rest assure, Margarito will take him to hell and back. Margarito is a rugged,hardened,veteran champion who has swept aside all before him at WW. He's huge,powerful,volume puncher,sturdy chin,incredibly unique angles which makes his punches come from angles you just don't see and those punches hurt and he has a good jab. Floyd would need the biggest ring availbale and his fastest running boots, and as there is a date set aside, we'll see if Floyd ducks Margarito again. Floyd recieved $5million basic fee plus more on top for Zab fight. He is being offered $6mill plus obviously however much the PPV makes to fight Tony so you know if he does not fight him now, he is running.
People say Margarito is less skilled Castillo etc but he has advantages over Castillo which more than make up for their technical differences and if Floyd was unable to hurt Zab,I'm certain he would not be able to dent Tony. Not just that but Tony is not dumb, he'll go to the body too. Number 1 thing in his advantage is if he sees 40% chance of catching Floyd, he won't just follow PBF aimlessly but will unleash the leather and he is bound to catch him at some point.
