Default IMO the most exciting fighter to watch ever.

Believe it or not I use to think Tyson, but now I say Arturo Gatti... Not because he is canadian, but how many great fights has Tyson been in? I say one against Evander Holyfield and we all knew it was a matter of time before Evander took him out because Tyson wasn't at all effective, and was getting worked on the inside. Gatti though not a great fighter, and not among my favorites is so fun to watch almost all the time. There have been fights where he has been outclassed, but I can't think of any other fighter in as many close, brutal wars as this man. Tyson had the excitement that he might to something crazy... literally in the ring, but Gatti had the excitement that he would go haymaker against haymaker with anyone willing to fight him toe to toe.

    Mickey Ward
    Rocky Graziano
    Carmen Basillio

    Roberto Duran
    Johnny Tapia
    Mike Tyson
    Joe Walcott

All have been in more then a couple great fights and almost never disappointed (except Tyson)

Can't beleive I forgot him. You have to lump Marco Antonio Barrera right there with him. And you could throw Chico in the list to...maybe.

Morales was a boxer who had that one punch power, he was only a true 'war' er when he fought Barerra. But he used to have a good jab and a cross to set it up he changed his style but it was the opposite of most other boxers. Most boxers as they get older change their style so they get hit less, he changed it so he'd get hit more.

Unfortuantely, that is true. He make his body and chin take punishment unneccesarily!!! I wish he would box more rather than go to war with everyone!!!

I agree with both you too. The Game and Angel Eyes c-click

I wish Morales would box more. He has more talent than Barrera, but Barrera is just plain smart
when they enter the ring together. I think that being from Mexico, amature experience, his mentality,
and his trainers all contributed to his unique fight at all costs style, yet have a jab in the process.

Although, I like to think his "war" style is what got him this far and ended him also.

But damn, his fights are more exciting than any other fighter today, IMO.
Extremely fast paced, thats why. There's Corrales and Gatti's miraculous wins after hitting the canvas. Which
I will never argue that they don't deserve "most exciting fighter."
But personally, I've always loved fast paced fights. And a Morales fight (Minus Raheem Disaster) is always
in fast paced mode. He was actually the only fighter to keep up with Pac's INSANE pace, in the first fight and some in the second.

He could have outboxed Pacquiao either time. But standing ans trading ruined him. He should really care more about winning, then caring about a legacy that's already cemented.

Chico corrales deserves a mention, this guy has so much heart that he can turn a fight around in an instant. Corrales/castillo was one of the best fights ever i reckon.
