Default i almost passed out today in the boxing gym

my homie is a pro boxer and he trained me i came back today to train cause i took alot of time off i boxed since the end of 2004. i trained from december to february and i was basically on and off with boxing for most of the year. then i just stopped training and today i came back i was hitting the pads i was hitting them good boom boom boom. then he told me to go on the bag and my feet just gave up on me i started feeling nautious, and i just went and layed down and he told me dont be a quiter bro. and then i rested a bit and i did some situps he told me to do and then work out was over. i barelt finished the work out. wtf happend did i get dehydraded or wat? or was it because i havent trained for a while ?

you ahvent trained in a while, its a shock to your body. Your body has become less effecient and "fit" with your time out of the gym so its no big suprise when you can barely handle a workout.

i nearly threw up 3 times on my first night at boxing, its one reason i dont want to quit for a long period of time

things will get easier, just drink water throughout the day (min of 2 litres, 3 ideal), eat well and get at least 8 hours of sleep a day. if you can do this then all you will have to focus on is your training

(very very generalised i know but ask questions if you have any about diet, rest and anything else)

Never skip meals, and never quit for long periods of time. Either one can cause you to become light-headed and pass out.

Big dog have your heart checked out. Passing out from strenuous activity is a sign for serious heart conditions such as dangerous murmurs.
If you passed out you should definately see a doctor and explaing to him what happened. If you check that you have passed out doing strenuous activity, you will have a difficult time getting a boxing license, this includes an amateur license. Be careful, something similar but not as bad happended to me that's how I found out I have a murmur. Make sure to tell the person setting your appointment what caused you to pass out and what your intensity was at the time so they will know what type of test to give you.

    good luck

Its probably not going to reoccur if you build up slow and dont go all out at first; but if it is blood pressure related or heart which can be the same thing really; A fantastic first aid remedy which balances out any pressure either high or low (low is actually immediatley more dangerous than high) 'to balance either out instantly' is cayene powder or a hot red chilli .chew off an end chew it up and swallow it down with water,or a teaspoon of powder stirred in water it pays to keep some in your kit.can save a life ;so can squashing around your left little finger tip around where the nail grows out from and also the ring finger next to it as well and in the centre of the palm of your hand right underneath and between those fingers (on the heart line)as you breathe long and slow, these moves retrigger off your heart meridian and balance out erregular rythyms.

    I can explain it.
But I cant understand it for you.
