Horst Seehoer is a ridiculous name that you could not even make up, but he is right in his assertion that 'Islamic faith is not part of German culture'.

Jews have been in Germany since the middle ages whereas Muslims did not start moving in until the 18th century. Much like the UK Germany is a Christian country and while Jews have been in England since William the conqueror Britain until very recently has been a Christian country. In fact you could probably make quite a good case for the UK being a secular country with so many atheists, unlike America.

There's no question that the UK is much more secular than the United States which is populated by bible-thumping Bible Belt lunatics from Arkansas to Mississippi 2 South Carolina to Georgia to Tennessee to Missouri you just can't make this stuff up
