Ray Robinson wins 100 fights out of 100 against Leonard

Robinson was the best fighter/boxer/puncher that has ever stepped into the ring at any weight.

I dunno so much....Leonard could of stepped up to the challenge IMO. I think he has all the tools to beat robinson although i think it would be close and no one else would of ever beaten him.

Ray Robinson was amazing for his time. Probably better than anyone era for era, but to compare him against Roy JOnes Jr. or Leonard or Mayweather who are all so much faster, so much more skilled its not fair for him. He didn't ahve the same kinds of training techniques, and fighting a few times every month destroys ones body. He is so much slower than any of these guys he wouldn't stand a chance if they fought, but compare their dominance in their time and I think this is still a good fight with Robinson winning barely... Not taken time period into consideration Leonard would beat Ray with too much speed and technique... If Robinson kept his hands down against Leonard he would be eaten alive.

I think their styles are generations apart.

Ray Robinson was the best of his time, and his style was a mastery of the basics. But if a fighter would have used his same exact style with his same speed and power, they would get beaten. Ray Leonard would beat him on this purpose. Although Ray Robinson's basics could give Leonard trouble, and I could see Robinson winning this fight. Winnable fight for both, bu their styles are generations are apart, which is why you cannot compare any fighter today to their counterpart of years ago.

I thought it was Ali... because he was more flamboyant than Robinson in the ring, and did things that Ali would do like the shuffle or wind mill punches.

Ugg how did Robinson master the basics? I don't think he was fundementally sound at all, and he had a horrible defence that allowed him to be hit way more than he should have like against Lamotta. No true master of basics just leaves their hands down and lets somebody else rain blow after blow down on them.
