I wouldn't say he was overhyped at all. If anything he went what is no longer a common and expected route. Lean into new exposure and peruse the very best, get the fights Charlo and Ortiz and then have them fall out for whatever reason and face all comers in the meantime. That's literally what they did with couch-slouch Chavez Jr, milked that name dry like the last heffer on the dairy farm. Tzsyu and pops weren't exactly 'close' in public and I'm not sure about otherwise, and he wanted to make his own name coming over. Chavez Jr and Tim are night and day. How many stools did he stay on, how many suspensions for banned substances and blown weights has Tszyu had. When's the last time he was handed gift decisions that were booed out of the arena in his own home country .
