Yeah I noticed that too, but with Malignaggi and Corrales to get past first I don't think either fighter can look that far ahead.

It seems logical now though that Castillo, Cotto and Hatton are the future of the light welter division. I'm pretty certain that all 3 fighters will face each other over the next couple years, could be like Hearns, Hagler and Leonard!

I don't think they're the future of light-welter. welter maybe. Hatton's already moving up to 147, and i think everyone expects cotto to do the same within the next three years.

Agreed. Castillo, Cotto and Hatton are indeed the future of 147...but once they all start battling each other...if that even happens...I'd have to say that as much as I dislike him...Castillo probably comes out on top.

Castillo is gonna have some mileage on him by then. 3 fights with Corrales can do that to you

I don't expect Corrales to beat Castillo in the rubber match unless Castillo has trouble making 135, which is very possible.. He is obviously suited to 140 now, and would do well to fight Hatton or Cotto. It's really a shame Castillo didn't make weight in the 2nd fight, imo if he had then he may as well have just vacated the title and moved up. Considering how the first fight went down, and how thouroughly Castillo dominated him in the 2nd fight, it's pretty much clear who's going to win 99 out of 100 times, it's just that Chico happened to have that lucky number 1. And that's even with a standing 30 count and all that contraversy.. Now his only shot is that Castillo will have to drain himself, but that's really possible I think, and it's not worth the risk for Castillo. Although their first fight was amazing, I just dont see a repeat happening and I think JLC dealt with Chico already.

Cotto is moving up to 147 after he fights Castillo.Bit unprofessional of Cotto to over look Malignaggi even though he should'nt pose to much of a threat if Cotto is in shape.

This is why so many fighters get beat man because there looking forward to either a bigger payday or a better fight. I hope Cotto isnt doing this.

Why do you dislike Castillo? A tough fighter, great skills, chin, power, polite...

I've wanted to see this fight for the longest, I hope it happens. Castillo has the ability to make plenty noise at 140 and maybe 147.
