Out of fighters that have fought recently I'd say, ODLH by far makes the most out of any fighter right now (he'll get like 15 Million for 12 rounds), PBF, Mosley, Trinidad (recently retired), Gatti makes a ton on the boardwalk, Tszyu, Hatton, JoeCal make a bit too. If Lennox came back he'd make $20-$30 Million a fight.

Yes Tyson has EARNED the most of any athlete through just the means of sport.. by a considerable amount. But he never hung onto his money, not at all.. So he was never worth nearly as much as Evander at one time.. Well maybe at some point he had somewhere close to the money Evander does now, but still not as much. Holyfield is actually the guiness record holder for wealthiest boxer... That's all I know. Roy Jones would have to be way up there as well, don't know where.

But I don't know how much truth there is to that and I suspect it hurt him when people found out he regularily commited adultery and had illegitimate children

Evander is in Guinness for the total gross of his fights, which is over $500 million, not his net worth. And when Tyson filed for bankrupcy it was said that the $300 million squandered was an exagerration, as it was closer to $200 million. George Foreman with his grill has more money than Evander and even he doesn't have $500 million.
