John Ruiz in rds 2 & 3, the ref warned him several times and Merchant said he saw nothing wrong with it and that the ref shouldn't have warned him. The only reason Lederman's tirade was out of place is it was way too late.

also he NEVER hit while he was holding, which byrd did several times, the one time he hit byrd at close proximity he extended his other arm to the side to show he wasnt holding
