I am glad you rate him, I know some think he is a powder puff, but because he does not hit hard he has to work hard to outbox his opponent. At the weight that he is in, that is not easy. He is a class fighter but yes the things he says are silly and do not know if he means it. Boxing is hard and not enjoyable but you would not get to where he is without actually having an interest and being good at it.

I also think very highly of Selby. Good to see him back. He needs to go after a Rosales rematch, now that Rosales has won a belt.

I wouldn't call Selby a "joy to watch," part of the reason he's a nobody is his non-crowd pleasing style, little guys need to be blood and guts vicious killers to get anyone interested in the west. But he sure is a wasted talented though. His win over Rosales makes him top 5 in the WORLD (if he can be bothered to actually train and fight)

I like his skills, his footwork, his movement. I like watching people with style and grace and I like people perfecting their art. watching a KO merchant is ok, but fuck me , a guy like Selby is 3 stone wet through , obviously they ain't gonna be bangers. I think he trains plenty (can't see him keeping that low in weight if he never.) , but saying he's not interested in and doesn't like the sport is the thing I don't like. it's about respect for the game.
A bit like why Eubank Sr. is a cock. He can say 20 years ago, the sport is barbaric and disparage it, but then have the fucking gall to squeeze the life out of the sport for every penny he can make.
