Default "Oscar's plan worked to perfection!

He hand picked Mayorga cuz as Max Kellerman put it "He was the biggest name with the least risk to fight", and he was. A big name KO artist with limited true boxing skills. An easy night for Oscar. And he did this so he couild look great against him, and generate public interest in his next fight, which will be against someone who actually has a shot at beating him.

And all you folks who paid for this fight walked right into Oscar's trap. Did you guys see this coming? Mayorga's like Trinidad, just smaller and with less power.

Oh for pete's sake give it a rest. Even if you are right, and of course you are - Kellerman is too - you're using up more than your share of bandwidth saying the same thing over and over.

I think it was a good choice for Oscar. And I would like to see him fight PBF. I'm sure you'll come up with reasons to boycott that, too, when Starr convinces you why such a fight won't "move boxing forward" whatever on earth that's supposed to mean.

I don't have HBO and didn't buy the fight, but it wasn't because of any silly boycott.

it was a comeback fight and to be fair he could have taken any number of easier comeback fights. it was an eventful fight and it got the hype to make it interesting....

im not resentful of having seen it, even though i wanted mayorga to win...
