I missed the injury, but half saw the replay... what happened it? I didn't notice anything.

He played a ball with his right foot and when he put his foot down his momentum took his weight onto his right leg, his studs looked to get caught in the pitch and his knee collapsed inward, that looked nasty.

I reckon that's the medial ligament gone - end of his world cup and (possibly) he will never be the same again.

    Ligament injuries kill pace.

Once again I thought Beckham was a waste of space, he gets alot of mileage out of his dead ball delivery as his overall contribution is poor. Its not like no one else in the team can deliver a cross, he aint scored for 3 years and is unable to drive the team in any way.

Watching him face the wrong way (towards the touchline) is comical, you just know he is going to collapse at the slightest touch, happens every single time without fail.

Yup - never tackled once (legally), never won a single header and he was supposed to have been marking the key guy for the first goal. Ljunberg (I think) totally marked him out of the game and made a good contribution himself.

I'll give the guy his due, he never stops trying, but he is now being shown up as the one trick pony he always was.

Has any body here seen football clubs prepare players to play. Its the saddest and funniest sight you can watch depending on how you look at it. They havent got a clue, I used to go several clubs and watch, and found it apalling. So I took probably the best Ostiopath in the country to watch, He told me he wanted to leave it was making Him angry.Theres more young players dont make it in Football through bad coaching and training principals than any other sport, because theres always some one to take their place.

Somebody told me that the reason Allardyce didn't get the job was becuase he said he would not keep Beckham as captain, but McClaren said he would
