he had one tough fight, so did flloyd in fact floyd had 2 vs castillo. why is everyone getting on his back, its his first move up to 147, mayweatherss performance vs judah and mitchell was even more disapointing than rickys, its just mayweather had bums, both of them losing more than once!
and my god hattons a fighter, you saw his legs go but he fought on, he came foreward and IMO mayb even won the round, wot a fighter, mayweather would jus have crippled up on the ropes, like almost everyother fighter, including collazo when hatton knnocked him down (it was not a dirty KD)!
hatton stil by points at 147, and if it was at 140 whichfloyd wont dare it would be a hatton ko 10

There is no doubt that whatever Ricky hatton does, he does it the hard way.
I sincerely hope Billy makes a massive effort to get Ricky to get his head moving.
Ricky is also susceptible to the 'Sugar ray' showboat points scoring punches you see from the likes of Collazo, Mayweather etc.
They do nothing but some judges seem to think they should be scored.
Ricky needs to tie them up beter but Collazo was a big natural welter and i think Ricky would suffer more from mayweathers speed and movement, but less from Mayweathers diminutive stature, in other words Ricky can dominate small guys easily but he struggled to boss Collazo last night.
He definitely hit harder Collazo but Collazo showed a good chin if not the kind of requisite desire to keep his title against the Manchester Mauler.

LOL you're funny as hell.What a raging biased Hatton fan.PBF had an awful night against Castillo,then he made the right adjustments and went on to win a tough fight against the best bully in boxing right now.Zab and Mitchell are very talented,and people keep saying that he looked slow against them,but what they dont see is that these guys are not Gatti or every non-defensive fighter Floyd has fought.

Mitchell has great head movement,as he kept making PBF miss his laser like jab.Zab has lightning reflexes,sometimes he gets lazy and cocky,but that wasn't the case against Floyd.That's why PBF couldn't land 5 punches combos,he's a smart fighter and he doesnt want to be open just to impress the judges.

As for Hatton,he needs to go back down,or take other fights cuz I believe Floyd will frustrate him all night,all Hatton knows to do is hold you and smother you on the inside,he got some pressure every time he breaks up the clinch but PBF will counter him badly every single time in those exchanges.

The problem with Hatton is he needs to be in his comfort zone before he can throw punches with efficiency, and that comfort zone is very close to his opponent... also if he is leaning on Mayweather, Floyd has much much faster feet and could just retreat backwards with an uppercut or anything he wanted and have Hatton off balance and hit.

umm Gatti didn't do those things against PBF, because he couldn't.... Gatti was exactly that type of fighter in almost every fight before Floyd, you see, it's easy to look good against average opponents... Or well, maybe not for Hatton.

There is one thing that Hatton does that will allow pretty boy to eat him alive.
When Hatton throw his combos he pauses for just a second with a slight lean in, with his hands down.
If he can fix this, it will be a better match. If not, PBF will deteriorate Hatton's face, end of story, closed, book and chapter.
