good stuff from a good guy.
I think the interview was good. He seems like a really good guy, however I really think Hatton should give Callozo a rematch immediatly it would settle allot of small talk as far as him not winning the fight from some boxing fans. He said he wants to be where the best fighters are but I bet anything that he is going to go back down in weight and fight the winner of corrales vs castillo.
wouldnt you consider corrales and castillo as great fighters. he want's to fight the best and says that he would rather fight at light welter. and a fight with either of them would have to be at light welter so yes that would meen he would go back down.
If he doesn't give collazo a rematch I doubt that he'll gets pbf. Definitely not at 147. Mayweather ain't coming back down for him. PBF will stay at 147 and say that hatton was run out of the division by collazo and its no need to fight him. As far as Castillo/Corrales i think he would break corrales. Castillo will give him a fight. 50/50
Step up so I can put you down
I would definately consider corrales and castillo great fighters but I just wish Hatton would give it some more time and stay where he's at. I would just like to see him give Callozo a rematch and win hands down to prove to some people that he isn't overated then step in the right with PBF, because thats the fight we all want to see ya know.Originally Posted by jbirdy
yeah mayweather is the fight that i wanna see. definately. but i would also love to see fights with gatti, castillo (cos he'll beat corrales), cotto, judah, margarito and all the big boys before he retires.
but mayweather is definately the one.
CC for that boss, did you carry out the interview? Basically,I guess he was saying that he won't fight Collazo again?
thats the impression i got from the interview aswell. but i still think a rematch should happen. but i can also understand why he would wan't to move on to bigger and better things.
Bigger and better things is true but you know Anti-hatton brigades will go on about this forever!! I want him to give a rematch to answer more questions too!
He does'nt need to fight Collazo again because he's beaten him fair and square in his own country and that is the fact of the matter.
Collazo is now beneath him and would be a big step back...
A Corrales or Castillo is where he's headed im sure and that is where the big money will come from.
He's not that far beneath him,the fight could have gone either way. Castillo is fhgitng Cotto at the end of the year and Chico won't move up to 140 so he may just have to take the rematch as the only person free would be Margarito and he DOES NOT want to go thereOriginally Posted by Smashup
