    Default IT'S ON

Oscar just said on Boxingtalk, that if he fights again, he's fighting Floyd. And we all know he's fighting again. Get ready guys, get ready.

Not going to get my hopes up as of just yet, I will wait for the official word but that would be an excellent fight. But even if this one doesn't pan out their are other quality opponents that I would like to see Oscar De La Hoya fight.

In all truthitude...I go back & forth with this one.

Two of my favorite fighters of the decade...one of the tuffest picks to make.

If Floyd can handle the weight...this will be one of the tuffest fights of Oscar's career.

If not...Oscar snuffs him out in about the 8th or 9th round by TKO.

It's hard for me to see that though...Oscar's prime is long gone & the win over Mayorga has made a lot of people see the world the Oscar goggles.

    Big mistake.

No way in hell Lil Floyd stands there to be hit like Mayorga did.

I would think that this would take place at 154, so PBF could try to add to his X number of weight class championships. From all that I have read it has sounded like PBF is waiting of Oscar so they can make this fight. You know Lil Floyd wants it, he gets 3 things out of it. 1) Oscars name on his list of W's 2) Shat load of money 3) another championship belt. I dont think its an if, but a when this fight happens.

please let it happen...would love to see ODLH go off into the sunset with an enormous victory over PBF...if it's at 154....please let it be at 154...

I hope that Floyd stays at 147 and moves in weight category as opposed to actually moving up in weight himself... When people fight above their walking around they run into trouble.

    Shane Mosley
    Felix Trinidad
    Bernard Hopkins
    Antonio Margarito
    Miguel Cotto
    Ricky Hatton

But the money lies with PBF so that's who his next fight will probably be against.

What an awesome fight that would be, I'd have to give it to Mayweather though. I think if it was a few years ago when Oscar was at the peak of his carrer it would of gone his way, but time have obviously passed since then.

Still it'd be one hell of a battle, Imagine if Oscar pulled it off.. that'd be some result for a final fight!

I'm not sure. PBF is my favorite boxer but De La Hoya's power is scary at 154. He basically KOed Mayorga is the first round. I know that PBF just won't get hit a lot because he's too quick and his defense is too good. PBF won't be moving like he did against Corrales because he's too heavy now, but his reflexes are still just way too quick. I think if PBF gets hurt early, he will put it on cruise control with the jab in and out and win in a boring UD. PBF should win but he has to make sure he doesn't get caught. PBF IMO is a true 135-140 pounder and he might suffer the same fate that Mosley did trying to fight the bigger guys.
