Default Bob Arum says Hatton dont want Urkal!!

He says he is talking to Hattons people on Thusday, do you think it is possible to fight Urkal then Cotto before the year is out?? I very much doubt it, but Cotto obviously has Nov 11th penciled in at MSG, is that to long to wait for Hatton?? I hope this fight can be made at MSG that would be an amazing fight.

It he wants it at Welter he has to fight Urkal first so it is a title fight.

If he wants it at LightWelter Hatton relinquishes the belt and fights Cotto as the challenger

Hatton - Cotto = Fight of the year

Well if Hatton is a nobody he wont mind his boy putting it all on the line against the Hitman. TKO10 Hatton.

Well its good to know Hatton himself is dismissing the shitty Urkal fight as nothing

I know its a buisness and things dont always work out how you planned (Collazo fight?) but I dont care what weight Hatton fights at, or for whatever crap belt, I just want to see him in the best fights against the "star" names, as I'm sure he does too.

On form, I don't think anybody could keep Hatton away. Not even Floyd. Although I'm not saying he would take the decision, Hatton walks forward the whole fight, there is no hiding place

When you get caught walking in it adds to the impact of the punch though...I am not a Hatton hater or lover, but
I think the top tier over here will give him a loss, Cotto, Mayweather and Margarito. I think Gatti / Hatton would be fight of the year....all out slugfest. I think he would beat Baldomir and Judah decisively. I'm sure I will get a lot of crap for saying that, but that's where I put him. I would like to see Hatton / Malignaggi, just to see how Hatton
can handle a pure speed fighter, depending on how he would handle the speed, I may change my view of him.

Id say hes close to Floyd, but theyre styles are so different youd have to see them in a ring to be sure of any opinion.
He beats Cotto easy for my money, this guy has shown he can be rocked and Hattons pressure and body work should take away his power.
He's below Margarito, but only on the factor of pure size. Hatton doesnt belong with real Welterweights, let alone guys who hit like Margarito and are really shrunken Junior Middleweights.

Both Cotto and Hatton have shown they can get rocked and fight back and win. I agree that Hatton's intense style would give Cotto problems, but I give the edge to Cotto because of his timing, that is how he wins his ability to throw perfectly timed power shots in the mid to late rounds. because I am enjoying this debate

Hatton is way too much for Cotto. He's bigger, stronger and non-stop. Cotto has been rocked and come back but when Hatton rocks his opponent his workrate makes them stay rocked.
