Most young fighters who rely on speed and spacing generally don't like being on the ropes, however most of them (the great ones in particular) know how to get out of those situations effectively. Notice that every round that Winky won was a round that he was able to back Jermaine up on the ropes get clean shots to the head. With the exception of his flurries, Jermaine was almost defenseless.
