How STUPID is this Roman Karmizin fella?

Why is he even givin Cory Spinks a shot tonight? Spinks is not a big name or draw outside of St. Louis, which is also where they happen to be fighting. So Karmizin is guranteed to get screwed if it goes to the cards. Already he has himself backed against the wall where he must knock Spinks out to win. He is capable of it and I hope he does, but if he doesn't he has no chance to win. Cory is just gonna run, run some more, throw some pitter patt crap, and survive the 12 rounds, then steal Karmizin's title. Now Cory may prove me wrong and legit out box the aging Karmizin legitimately, but even if he doesn't we all know he will definately get the decision. Dumb fight for Karmizin.

Why would you think that people in the boxing world would want Spinks to win, I don't get it. No boxing sanction wants a guy like Spinks who has no star power, no popularity, small amount of talent, and a very dim future as it's champion. The people of St Louis may be behind Spinks, but nobody in the boxing world is, specially the boxing sanctions (IBF,WBA,WBC,WBO). I don't think they will be paying the judges off for a Spinks win, sorry.

Once again Spinks was out worked, beaten, hunted down hurt, yet managed to run his way to another crooked shady ass decision. I was surprised and a little impressed early when he stood with Karmazin and didn't run and will admit he won four of the first 6 rounds. But from then on he maybe won one or two at the most more rounds and was simply outworked. I mean it's hard to say you are a champ and won the fight when your own corner is telling you to "Grab this motherfuker and hold on for dear life!". Sadly I was right, another champ falls victim to the Spinks "jinks" AKA Fix.

Spinks landed a few pitter patt shots mostley to Karmazin's chest and maybe a couple clean ones. It's just a joke to truly say Spinks won the fight.

none of those rounds before the 7th were "clearly' Karmazins rounds and they were more clearly Cory's, the fight was close from the 7th round on but Spinks had dominated the action before that. And landing one hard shot in the 2nd and getting outboxed the rest of the way is no way to win around unless your name is Ricky Hatton

Karmazin landed one really big punch in round 2 and then just got outboxed, he threw punches but Spinks slipped almost everything after that. I know the tv people and everyone gave Spinks the round but I really didn't think so. Maybe I missed something.

But as for round 6, Karmazin began to have sucess because he started using his lead left hook and his jab but he started that in the last minute of the round and Spinks still had that quickness. I really don't see how you could give Karmazin that round.

Like I said, draw at best, 1 round off at worse. I think round 2 is the only real swing round to be honest.

Funny how even Al Bernstein whose score card was ridiculous, had it a draw by the end, isn't? Also that all of Press Row had Karmazin winning or at worst a draw. To say Spinks won that fight borders on ignorant or at least very bias. Myself I don't like either fighter much, dislike Spinks more but Karmazin is certainly not a favorite of mine, not by a long shot.
