I love car boot sales... the sheer amount of crappy old faddy technology... heman/captian planet/thunder cats toys/videos and damaged star wars toys and super ted manuals on offer are just too much for me :P

still got all of my mega drive stuff... I was obsessed with sonic the hedgehog... read all the comicsand everything... I'll have to get you clued up on roms and emulation... once its set up its pretty easy to use... you can download almost any megadrive game off the net in a matter of seconds from romnation.

Get your self a decent controller (shite with a keyboard... you either have to use W A S D for the arrows or the arrow keys... which are back to front on a keyboard (you use your right hand... the mega drive uses the left hand) and its like playing all those megadrive games you wanted as a kid

This past Saturday I bought 3 kids pullalong travel cases for 50 pence a piece. I once bought Buzz Lightyear and Woody in great condition for £2.

The father of my eldest boys best friend is the pasture of the local church so we go to thier table sale once in a while. Last time I went I bought 2 diesel T-Shirts, an Adidas tracksuit top and a Chelsea top all for £2.

Car boot? Assuming it's like a garage sale. You brits are wierd.

Anyways I got a giant Ali-Frazier canvas that hangs over the bed in my room at a garage sale a while back. It's in a silver frame and everything, perfect condition very cool. It's the pic of Frazier charging in head down and Ali delivering a right hook. It has Thrilla In Manila bolded in the top left corner. $5! The guy was a complete ass though so I didn't have a problem taking his money. Tried running the price up on some cheap little action figure on a kid who was no more then 8 years old.

I bought an AK-47 Kalashnikov from a street market in Kuwait during the Iran-Iraq war.

It was less than £10 and I gor a couple of cases of free shells thrown in as well.

I was 14, and the guy sold it to me wothout blinking. Ha, no Health and Safety gestapo there!

If we sold things out of the back of our car boots and called it a garage sale then we'd be weird

But then again you guys call liquid fule 'gas' and a game which involves holding a ball 'football'... so what do I know? :P

    Tell me about it mate

We did one a few years ago and had loads of designer clothes that were just too small etc and they want em for pence.
    Made around £12 i think.
Total waste of time really but worth it to shift loads of sh*t that just clogs up the cupboards
