Winky Vs Calzaghe

i live in wales but im a real big winky fan and i cannot decide who is going to win
i think this would be a real close fight and if it took place in wales calzaghe would get the decision unless winky blows him away like tito but i cant see that happening. there both southpaws but completely different fighters, winky a defensive master and calzaghe and offensive master, neither 1 is particualry good as what the other is good at, another factor of this fight is the weight i think it would take place at supermiddleweight because jc wouldnt be able to get any lower or make a catchweight, i think this fight will come off winky wants to be a recognised world champ agaian and wants revenge for what calzaghe did to his good friend lacy

i dont mind who wins but i would hope its a fair fight and the judges dont make it a bad fight

Winky won't take this fight. There is no way he can win.

Taylor's arm punches knocked him all over the ring, Calzaghe is faster, stronger, more accurate, throws more and has more stamina, a better chin and better reflexes than Taylor.

There is no way Winky wins this fight.

Even if JC broke a hand in the first round I'd still pick him to win.

I agree with the majority of you lot . Calzaghe is too big for Winky . His power is underated too and he'l have the power at 168 to stop an old man who was floored 5 times a decade ago down at 154 .

Winky struggled with Taylor who is lazy in comparrisson with Joe . The beating he dished out to Lacy would be pretty similar to what hed do to Wright . Difference is Lacy was a big strong undefeated super middle . Wright is a fading light middle .

I really hope this fight gets made and Joe finally gets the respect from the Yanks that he so utterly deserves . Im certain he'd send out a statement with a stoppage win and the we'd be talking p4p great

Winky is a really good fighter, but I fear that the bigger, stronger Calzaghe would just pour punches onto him fror every angle, using that excellent footwork, to make Winky just concentrate on survival.

I think it would be to big a step 4 Winky, Taylor's strenght caused him trouble at middle and I think at super middle JC would probably stop him, don't think it will happen though, Winky would be better off going after Taylor again

Calzaghe is to big for for Winky, he was troubled by Taylors power even tho i 4t he won the fight, Calzaghe thows alot of punches and i could see him maybe stopping Winky late on.Wright said even the punches that he blocked from Taylor they still hurt,and Calzaghe is a good puncher at SMW.

Winky is basically a 154 lbs fighter Calzaghe is a guy who walks round at 200lbs and starves himself down to 168 - I don't think there is a great deal between then p4p, but Calzaghe's natural size would be a huge advantage imo
