    Default Juan Diaz is awesome

Man Juan Diaz proves he is the man to beat at Lightweight

When i saw him against Juan Miguel Cotto, i thought this kid won't last long by having no power to KO opponents.

But last night against Randy Suico, he had shown how great defense and intelligence can win a fight and he did it in outstanding fashion.

Suico who dominated the entire Pacific rim with and packs a 24W - 21KO's record, but he was totally outclassed, outboxed, outmanuevered by Juan Diaz.

He is very young and not yet even at his prime

a fight with Frietas, Casamayor and Corrales will be great. and also with PACMAN if he decides to fight at lightweight

It was the undercard of Mosley-Vargas

The ref stopped the fight because Suico might suffer a brain damage if the fight continues, good job by the ref

I think Diaz was mentally focused, fast hands & had accurate punches landed & Suico was surprised for it since he was only a replacement boxer.

I'll admit he's entertaining to watch, but once he fights the better guys out there he's gonna get whipped. Personally I think Julio Diaz would kill him, & Corrales would do it in his sleep

Right on ! another good post ! Suico was tough as nails, I am very happy with the stoppage, Suico will fight on another day, glad the ref did not let it go as that fight could have been career ending for Suico

IMO Juan Diaz is still realitively untested, Lorcy was over the hill, Sim although tough didn't really have top notch skills. Cotto was again tough but under skilled. Corrales eats him up, Freitas would run enough to get the nod, Casamayor wouldteach him how to fight as would Julio Diaz. Juan Diaz is still not at that level

He's good! But man, If Randy Suico can get a serious trainer, Man this kid could be awesome. His trainers didn't knew what to do when Suico lost in the infight exchange. That's where they hoping that he would dominate in that area. His losses were on foes that just ran away and outboxed him. Given his height, I think he should get a trainer who could teach him to fight tall. If this continues, what a waste of talent and Man could he hit. Juan Diaz' right face was swelling from punches that are guarded.

I agree, maybe they did not study Diaz well and hopes Suico would land a bomb and finish him early. But it turns out Diaz is well covered and Suico's lack of head movements do the damage for him. Suico is a big puncher with 21 KO's but the handspeed of Diaz is main issue.

Joe Kuizumi should have opted Suico to dance early on and avoided the shots instead of colliding with it in hopes of countering Diaz.

Suico's stands looks really like Luisito Espinoza, both trained by Kuizumi

Suico should look for a better trainer or he'll ended up nothing but a prospect
