    Default Medicine ball workouts (by myself)

    Best are some of the good workouts to use with a medicine ball alone.When at the gym, i like to use the medicine ball, but some of the guys there dont like to use it. So its hard to get a partner to help.

    I recently got a 15lb leather one, and right now all i do with it is hold it, and bang it up against the wall. also, i have roped it... so when i throw it, i can pull it back.
    Just wondering if anyone knows some medicine ball workouts that i can do by myself.

    don't slam your leather one. it'll break it down. the rubber ones are for slamming.

    hold your leather one in your arm like a football. if you're orthodox, do uppercuts while using your left hand as a "punch mit" to stop your momentum. Do the same with your left arm but mimick a left hook (and left uppercut) while using your right hand as the punch mit. You can also lay on your back and chect pass it into the air to yourself. Pass it as high as you can make it go.

    if you can get your hands on a ruber one, you can do these against a brick wall. I do them and I also slam an 8pounder against a brick wall for left/rt body shots. Long story short, do these any way you can against a wall while mimicking a punch as closely as possible. With the leather ball, you're a bit more limited but you can still do high intensity rotational motions and the ones I described above.

    I like Vons idea, never tried it, i have people all sides of me so they wouldnt like me much after that.

    Push ups on the medicine ball, bit of an alternate grip.

    Stand up, push med ball out in front of you, then back to chest, then up above, then back to chest, then out again. Repeat for as long as you can, this is a real shoulder burner.

    Sit ups while swinging the med ball above head. Sit up and swing it down to floor, then swing it above your head to floor when you lay back down.

    Rotational core movements.
