I'm guessing you're a southpaw?
Your leading hand isn't really ment to generate a great deal of power, it takes look to store and transfer weight for the right arm and arguably you can never store as much is your stance is right.
You will increase the power you can generate through techique and training your body symetrically...

ALright thank you and yeah im a south paw. Thanks for the advice ill keep training until that arm has almost the same strength as my powerful left.
technique via practice and pushing off the ball of YOUR left foot( usually a rightif not south paw!! :P)and using your body wieght when you throw, helps me anyway lol![]()
Immortal Technique
How you discribe it,I bet youre off balance when throwing it

Exactly, just keep working at it.Originally Posted by Shinlee

Its all about progression, the way I train in the gym (at least the drills we do) have hardly hanged since I started, but I've stuck at it and my jab now carrys more power than my cross did when I first started out.
And I can tell you it has very little to do with my strength increasing...![]()
Throwing a right hook is a lot of technique. Drop weight onto your left foot and turn your right hip and then your right shoulder aas far to the left as far as possible without moving your right fist. Use the resulting tension to whip your right fist through to the left shoulder.
ALright i can do this ! thanks guys ill tell you how my right hand hooks are going in time! thank you
I agree with technique also.. What you could do if you have a digital camera or video camera is film you working on your right and left hooks.. Then watch it back. You might find a few small flaws in your technique that one improved can make a lot of difference to the power you get out of that punch.
